Refund policy
At Ghoroya Swad, we take great care in packaging and delivering our homemade food products. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. General Policy
All sales are final. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our food products (aamshotto, pickles, thekua, and similar items), we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect orders placed by the customer.
2. Refund Eligibility – Damaged Products
We will process a refund only if the product arrives visibly damaged or in an unusable condition due to packaging failure or mishandling during transit.
To be eligible for a refund in case of damage:
- You must record an unboxing/unpacking video at the time of opening the package. This video is mandatory and must clearly show the sealed package being opened and the damaged product.
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the unboxing video and your order details.

Claims without an unboxing video will not be entertained.
3. Refund Process
Once we review and approve your claim:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- We may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion, depending on product availability.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
We will not issue refunds for:
- Change of mind or taste preference
- Delays in delivery caused by courier partners or incorrect address provided by customer
- Minor variations in taste, texture, or appearance due to handcrafted/homemade nature of products
- Products that have been partially consumed
- Claims made after 48 hours of delivery
- Claims without unboxing video evidence
5. Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not been dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately at chatterjee.shilpa27@gmail.com. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
